Thirty years of treating thousands of children has offered us experience, knowledge, patience, understanding and many patient success stories. When a young mother calls with concerns that “something just isn’t right”, we understand. When a preschooler is struggling with behavior, we are able to assess the reason and treat the underlying causes behind the behavior. A bright elementary age student who isn’t performing to his or her ability in the classroom may also have undetected motor delays.
Most of the time, test results indicate poor bilateral coordination, low muscle strength, intolerance to/or seeking sensory stimulation or impaired motor skills. Once motor skills improve, behavior and school performance improve dramatically. Parents also report higher self esteem (child seems happier), better communication, ability to sit still and improved reading scores.

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy and have enjoyed practicing for over 25 years.
